Summer Summer always makes me think of the beach and standing at the ocean's edge letting the tide wash over my feet. As I look out over the vastness of the ocean, I am aware of the power of the water, the variety of sea life living unseen beneath the surface, and the constant ebb and flow of the water Our relationship with God is much like that. There is a vastness and a mystery to God. There is a power available to us. There is a variety and richness of life within the Spirit of God. And because we are human, there is the constancy of God up against the ebb and flow of the "shore" of our inconstancy of awareness of God's presence and power. Take some time this summer to immerse yourself in the ocean of God's love and presence, to remind yourself that all the power you need in your life is available to you.
